It was a beautiful afternoon in downtown Toms River for the annual convention Toms River Police Jingle Bell 5K.

This was the 22nd edition of the Jingle Bell 5K. The race took place on the streets of downtown Toms River and surrounding neighborhoods. It is estimated that over 700 runners participated in the event.

Once again, the proceeds of the race went towards scholarships for students in the region and this year the race also benefited the local organization “A need that we fill»Which provides meals to the inhabitants of the district. Overall a great cause and a job well done by the Toms River Police and those who have stepped up to help.

Members of the Toms River Fire Department ran at full speed and Toms River EMS made sure people were in good shape the entire way. It was really a wonderful event in town for Christmas and we even had the chance to take a selfie with Santa Claus 🎅

Thank you to everyone who came and participated in the Toms River Downtown Business Improvement District “Winter Wonderland” Weekend, a fantastic “Christmas themed” weekend in Toms River.
